🇫🇷 « Je m’appelle Rui, j’ai 32 ans, j’ai étudié le design à l’IADE, à Lisbonne, où j’ai obtenu un master en design de production, qui s’est conclu par l’attribution du prix du « meilleur étudiant du cours » et par le classement de 20 dans mon projet de thèse « Communauté d’éco-village ».  Aujourd’hui, je suis enseignant professionnel certifié par l’IEFP, et je me déplace entre les arts, la permaculture et la musique, également instructeur de Slackline. Je suis actuellement le fondateur et le président de l’association Live With Earth, pour le développement durable global par des actions au Portugal, en partenariat avec la municipalité de Torres Vedras, qui a reçu la Feuille verte européenne 2015 et le prix Destinations vertes 2018 dans la magnifique Serra do Socorro. En 2017, j’ai été le principal responsable de l’organisation de l’IFAC 2017 – Festival international d’art et de construction, pour la première fois au Portugal. Au cours de ce voyage, j’ai développé des projets et des partenariats avec des organisations nationales et internationales reconnues et influentes, dans les domaines de l’économie circulaire, des projets pour les jeunes et de l’écotourisme. En 2019, j’ai reçu le prix mondial  » Exceptional Leaders of Execllence  » au WEF – Women Economic Forum,  en reconnaissance de mon travail développé depuis 2012, et des projets et marques que j’ai créés et coordonnés. Je commence actuellement un doctorat en design, à l’IADE – UNIVERSIDADE EUROPEIA, avec une bourse financée par la Fondation portugaise pour la science et la technologie (FCT) dans le but de rechercher les pigments naturels qui existent dans le sol, dans la zone protégée de la Serra do Socorro e Archeira. »

🇬🇧 « My name is Rui, I’m 32 years old, I studied design at IADE, in Lisbon, where I obtained a master’s degree in production design, which resulted in the award of the « best student of the course » and the ranking of 20 in my thesis project « Eco-village community ». This work was presented and created a huge critical mass in Portugal and abroad, and opened up opportunities for the world of social entrepreneurship, permaculture design and alternative economies, areas that I now teach at IADE – UNVERSIDADE EUROPEIA. Today I am a professional teacher certified by IEFP, and I move between arts, permaculture and music, also a Slackline instructor. I am currently the founder and president of the association Live With Earth, for global sustainable development through actions in Portugal, in partnership with the municipality of Torres Vedras, which received the European Green Leaf 2015 and the Green Destinations 2018 award in the beautiful Serra do Socorro. In 2017, I was primarily responsible for the organisation of IFAC 2017 – International Festival of Art and Construction, for the first time in Portugal. During this trip, I developed projects and partnerships with recognized and influential national and international organizations in the fields of circular economy, youth projects and ecotourism. In 2019, I received the World Award « Exceptional Leaders of Execllence » at the WEF Portugal – Women Economic Forum, in recognition of my work developed since 2012, and the projects and brands that I have created and coordinated. I am currently starting a PhD in Design, at IADE – UNIVERSIDADE EUROPEIA, with a scholarship funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), with the aim of researching the natural pigments that exist in the soil, in the protected area of the Serra do Socorro e Archeira. »
